About Us

Anchrom Enterprises (I) Pvt. Ltd. is one of India’s oldest companies in analytical instruments supply. Being founded by a technocrat, Anchrom created a niche for itself in the Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) technique which later became High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC).
With a rich legacy since 1978, Anchrom is now into wet chemistry analysers and NIR analysers along with TLC and HPTLC, which have been our specialized areas. We are closely associated with our principles to provide the best services to our customers during sales and after-sales support. We are proud to be “Technologists, not Traders!”

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)

SmartChem works on the principal of Visual photometric technique (Colorimetry).
SmartChem is capable of doing multiple parameters as Alkalinity, Hardness, Fluoride, Chloride, Nitrate, Nitrite, sulfate, Silicate, Iron Magnesium, Manganese, Cyanide and dozens more. (Refer the parameter sheet).
Depending upon the SmartChem system you are using, You can get a sample capacity from 210 samples per hour to 600 samples per hour (In Ideal conditions)
Yes, Soil and fertilizers samples can be done using SmartChem, as the SmartChem doesn’t involve sample preparation procedure, SmartChemis capable of handling multiple samples from Multiple matrices.
SmartChem automates the traditional manual colorimetric methods to Automation, eliminating the Manual error, providing more accuracy and reducinglabor workload to channelize them for documentation and other works.
Compared to the manual traditional method, SmartChem works in micro liters. It helps you reduce your reagents cost by 90%
No, You do not have to depend on us for the reagents, As the Instrument supports ISO guidelines, you can prepare your own reagents. Along side, If you want to purchase ready to use reagents that can also be made available for you.
No, SmartChem cannot do sample preparation as there is a lot of versatility inthe sample matrices that SmartChem is able to do, Hence SmartChemcannot do sample preparation
First the sample should be clear solution. Secondly, some minimal sample preparation might be needed, depending upon the interference that might be in the water sample.
SmartChem is installed with a dedicated wash station, The wash station ensures the cleaning of the cuvette. Where as after washing the cuvettes, the cuvette is checked again for its Optical density
SmartChem follows guidelines like ISO 15923-1/ 2 for analysis. Also SmartChem can follow guidelines like IS, APHA, EPA,. etc. Hence you are never deviating from your working method.
No, you do not have to create each and every time you use the instrument. SmartChem comes with a pre-setted method, just select the parameter you want toanalyse, Load the samples and start the analysis. This also ensures flowof methodfor all samples without any deviation.
No, You just need to prepare the highest calibration point and the further dilution can be done by instrument automatically.
COD, BOD cannot be done using SmartChem Instrument
Yes, ISO 15923-1 and ISO 15923-2/TS specifies the use of Discrete Analyzer for the photometric analysis. And SmartChem is a discrete analyser.
Being completely Automated, SmartChem separates the Bio-hazardous waste from the non-hazardous waste after the reaction is complete. In this way you can manage waste disposal. Also, by using SmartChem you reduce your over exposure tothe harmful reagents used in the analysis.
Yes, you can surely work on SmartChem using any of the above specified method.
Being completely Automated, SmartChem eliminates all the manual error that can be caused over the course of analysis including end point identification, Dilutions accuracy between replicates etc.
